<span style="font-size: large;">WOW! I have been very very bad. I haven't posted to my Blog in a year!! I must say I miss it but I have had a busy life this past year. I do continue my knitting & crocheting, but have been doing a lot more sewing. I have even recently started an <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/KimGeezeCrafteria" target="_blank">Etsy store</a>. It is doing OK but hope it picks up now that I have more time to make some more fun things. So far I have tea wallets, phone pocket charging stations, coin purses, and Ruffled purses. Here is one of the Ruffled purses that I sold. They are fun to make and have had a lot of compliments. They are lined in cotton fabric & have pockets on the inside & outside with a zipper closure. The back of this one has a pocket with velcro closure.</span><br />

I also remembered I hadn't posted my pictures of the yarn I got when I was in Germany. Here is <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qT8zeh97AcQ/TVlhIS0hyuI/AAAAAAAAA64/9Ts6SHaZ1jY/s1600/Germany%2B006.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qT8zeh97AcQ/TVlhIS0hyuI/AAAAAAAAA64/9Ts6SHaZ1jY/s320/Germany%2B006.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5573592808966703842" border="0" /></a>the Bravo from <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8DUipbq6hdY/TVlhIuCTQiI/AAAAAAAAA7A/XXkEo5SZexU/s1600/Germany%2B005.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8DUipbq6hdY/TVlhIuCTQiI/AAAAAAAAA7A/XXkEo5SZexU/s320/Germany%2B005.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5573592816272228898" border="0" /></a>Germany. My son also sent me a few more skeins for my Birthday. The Scarf is one I started for my daughter while I flying home for 9 hrs. I finished a hat while I was there but she <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u0wlQYBxaiY/TVlhJMclsSI/AAAAAAAAA7Q/vukdFBkSzOU/s1600/stash%2B002.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u0wlQYBxaiY/TVlhJMclsSI/AAAAAAAAA7Q/vukdFBkSzOU/s320/stash%2B002.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5573592824435552546" border="0" /></a>has already run off with it. LOL<br />The cones are my precious <a href="http://www.elmore-pisgah.com/">Peaches & Creme</a> that will be no more as of February 25. Pisgah Yarn was bought by Spinrite which is a Canadian company that owns Sugar & Cream. I am so bummed about it and have placed my final orders this week.WAAAA!<br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o8uy145jndw/TVlhJsF1mDI/AAAAAAAAA7Y/RnLdKjxqpm0/s1600/stash%2B006.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o8uy145jndw/TVlhJsF1mDI/AAAAAAAAA7Y/RnLdKjxqpm0/s320/stash%2B006.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5573592832930060338" border="0" /></a>The last picture is some <a href="http://www.redheart.com/">Redheart Eco</a> yarn that I won in a contest last year and also some Moon & Stars baby yarn. OH yes I have lots more but it would takes days to post it. Also have about 20 cones of Peaches & Creme coming soon. I hope to keep my Blog updated each month this year..LOL I think I said that last year. We had a great Christmas and I did many cloths but to many to post. I will post a couple of the ones that I do on a regular basis. I'm hoping to get my Scrubbie Crochet pattern typed up and posted to my blog. I have had a lot of request for it on Ravelry. Well here are the cloth patterns I do for family & friends. The one is from the 3 Easy dishcloths on <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/three-easy-wash-clothes">Ravelry</a>. The other is called <a href="http://www.bernat.com/data/pattern/pdf/Bernat_HandicrafterCotton299_kn_dishcloth.en_US.pdf">Easy Dishcloth</a> from Bernat & I think you have to sign up for free membership to get it.<br /><br />Here is the Ea<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TS3nT84H5XI/AAAAAAAAA5M/BQ_5KIi7TgA/s1600/Xmas2010%2B007.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TS3nT84H5XI/AAAAAAAAA5M/BQ_5KIi7TgA/s320/Xmas2010%2B007.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5561355444817487218" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TS3nUW6pyqI/AAAAAAAAA5U/sJvFFn1s2Lc/s1600/Xmas2010%2B005.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TS3nUW6pyqI/AAAAAAAAA5U/sJvFFn1s2Lc/s320/Xmas2010%2B005.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5561355451807419042" border="0" /></a>sy dishcloth<br /><br />The Other is called Garter Ridges. They both are very quick to knit up and I of course always use my beloved American made Peaches & Creme! Oh and I finally figured out how to make my dishcloth bands on the printer. I am pleased how they turned out :)Kims Kreationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03068026396062860078noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3161061294081612355.post-4645639219640237682010-11-05T21:43:00.001-07:002010-11-05T22:01:12.224-07:00Where has the time gone?<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfIypPf_I/AAAAAAAAA48/TbMwsErViCI/s1600/Germany+053.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfIypPf_I/AAAAAAAAA48/TbMwsErViCI/s320/Germany+053.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536295184071884786" border="0" /></a><br />d<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfI84uFtI/AAAAAAAAA40/w8rwORHg5eY/s1600/Germany+065.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfI84uFtI/AAAAAAAAA40/w8rwORHg5eY/s320/Germany+065.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536295186821158610" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfIQErpWI/AAAAAAAAA4s/8wUOdURp6dQ/s1600/Germany+019.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 239px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfIQErpWI/AAAAAAAAA4s/8wUOdURp6dQ/s320/Germany+019.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536295174791734626" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfIE7s-TI/AAAAAAAAA4k/1v1bYVRR73Q/s1600/Germany+043.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TNTfIE7s-TI/AAAAAAAAA4k/1v1bYVRR73Q/s320/Germany+043.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5536295171801282866" border="0" /></a><br />Well I have really gotten behind, but have been really busy. Thought I would post a few pictures from my trip to Germany first and then post a few of the projects I'm working on. These are from the town of Bitburg where my son lives. It is not far from Spangdahlem Air Force Base where he is stationed. The one with the field and town behind it is taken from my son's dining room window. The cows are down the hill from his house on a farm we walked by everyday when went for walks. The one of the church is from a walk we took also. The one with the shops is where Marie and I went shopping. It is a beautiful country and I really enjoyed myself and I bought quite a bit of yarn from a couple shops.Kims Kreationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03068026396062860078noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3161061294081612355.post-30283788627989344602010-07-23T23:04:00.000-07:002010-07-23T23:38:19.947-07:00Well lots of things going on at the moment.. Most important is the birth of my 7th Grandchild Riley Jean McGuire. My son & DIL are both in the USAF and live in Germany. She was born Sunday July 18th and I can't wait to hold her. My son & DIL have bought me a ticket to Germany and I leave Aug 2nd til Aug25th. So I have been getting together the things I have made for her. Unfortunately I haven't been able to do much knitting and not any crocheting . I have been sewing some receiving blankets and burp cloths and that has been fun to sew for a change. I have sharp pains shooting into my shoulder and up into my neck and they seem to think it is the carpal tunnel so I have started steroids for now and go back to the Dr. July 27th. Well here are few things I did get done before this flair up. I <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TEqHX30ndZI/AAAAAAAAA4M/HY3hnpnAOic/s1600/Rileyshats+006.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TEqHX30ndZI/AAAAAAAAA4M/HY3hnpnAOic/s320/Rileyshats+006.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497355139350492562" border="0" /></a>love the<a href="http://strickhasi.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/babyballerinas-doctranslation.pdf"> Ballerina booties</a> and hope they fit the Philipino Princess! All of these were done in <a href="http://www.peaches-creme.com/">Peaches & Creme</a> cotton yarn. And a <a href="http://littlesesameknits.blogspot.com/2006/12/spur-of-moment-baby-hat.html">Ruffled Hat</a> to go with them. These were so fun and I loved working with pink yarn!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TEqIfXOzHhI/AAAAAAAAA4U/bL47BdXt4i4/s1600/Rileyshats+011.jpg"><img style="float: right; margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TEqIfXOzHhI/AAAAAAAAA4U/bL47BdXt4i4/s320/Rileyshats+011.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497356367552519698" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TEqHXrQ3beI/AAAAAAAAA4E/S_vw2Dq53Tg/s1600/Rileyshats+005.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/TEqHXrQ3beI/AAAAAAAAA4E/S_vw2Dq53Tg/s320/Rileyshats+005.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497355135979318754" border="0" /></a>Kims Kreationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03068026396062860078noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3161061294081612355.post-36311091928734151092010-05-08T22:45:00.000-07:002010-05-08T23:12:54.141-07:00Earth & Sun Blanket<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/S-ZPipFnVJI/AAAAAAAAA3s/lJbp_oS1a8I/s1600/babyspiral.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/S-ZPipFnVJI/AAAAAAAAA3s/lJbp_oS1a8I/s320/babyspiral.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469146254051595410" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />Some variations to a fun Blanket pattern from<a href="http://www.hookandneedledesigns.com/earth_&_sun.htm"> Lisa Gentry</a>.. Denton has gone back to work in Nashville Tennessee, so have been getting some Spring cleaning done. I wanted to post some things I did for Easter. First is my new center- piece Easter basket. This was originally a treasure basket and was a design by Lisa Gentry who is one of my favorite designers. You can check out her designs at <a href="http://hookandneedledesigns.com/">her website by following this link</a>. The Treasure Basket was also a contest in the <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/tour/getting-started">Hook & Needle Group </a>on Ravelry and I won it so I posted a photo of my winnings. It is a really fun and chatty group on Ravelry and I have made some wonderful friends there.Lisa is a wonderful designer and quite generous with her designs and winning prize packages. She has just ventured into dyeing her own line of yarn called Hummywinger (named after the Moderator of the Group). So you will find lots of my projects are Lisa Gentry designs! Here's my Easter basket.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/S9hQViWcrkI/AAAAAAAAA28/giN4ZHhN70k/s1600/100_1814_medium.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/S9hQViWcrkI/AAAAAAAAA28/giN4ZHhN70k/s320/100_1814_medium.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465206478742531650" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/S9hQVTruyuI/AAAAAAAAA20/31kAk4EK6CY/s1600/DSC04322.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/S9hQVTruyuI/AAAAAAAAA20/31kAk4EK6CY/s320/DSC04322.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465206474805267170" border="0" /></a>Kims Kreationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03068026396062860078noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3161061294081612355.post-67054457031979358372010-03-04T08:33:00.000-08:002010-03-04T08:46:36.903-08:00Crocheted HotpadsI <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">finally</span> got around to crocheting a really fun <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Hot pad</span> I have been wanting to do. Life just seems to be rolling at a fast pace.Wow, what a winter we have been having! It has been snowy, cold and dreary. To bad it doesn't go by so fast. Well her is my only Winter photo I'm posting, because I'm just sick of the white stuff. Here is the stack of ballband cloths I did and them laid out before I decided how to join them.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Sr72KeNd8NI/AAAAAAAAAzU/7KSgUgvu_p4/s1600-h/DSC02881.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 182px; height: 139px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Sr72KeNd8NI/AAAAAAAAAzU/7KSgUgvu_p4/s320/DSC02881.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386012864150368466" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Sr72K_f99iI/AAAAAAAAAzc/jCUlp1rVoNY/s1600-h/DSC02990.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 183px; height: 138px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Sr72K_f99iI/AAAAAAAAAzc/jCUlp1rVoNY/s320/DSC02990.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386012873086334498" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I decided to join them with Ballband stitch design... then decided on the black and white so all the other colors would pop. What a SummerI have had such a busy summer and will be posting till Christmas to get all caught up! First I have been painting and fixing up our house... So sick of beige walls we've had for almost 5 yrs. We also had concrete patio poured and a gazebo to put over it. (Patio done by my hubby). The Highland Co. Fair first of Sept. and I entered my knitting and crocheting for the first time. The same week my son and his wife Marie were here for her first visit to OH. First time we met her & we stayed busy that week and then My Step-daughter and I just got back from Myrtle Beach!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Srumq_cDhZI/AAAAAAAAAy8/dHfsw7qqqb4/s1600-h/Flip+flopRoom+007.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 265px; height: 199px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Srumq_cDhZI/AAAAAAAAAy8/dHfsw7qqqb4/s320/Flip+flopRoom+007.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5385081036965381522" border="0" /></a> <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SrumrahQwNI/AAAAAAAAAzE/pwjfYTUYoTg/s1600-h/Flip+flopRoom+008.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 262px; height: 196px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SrumrahQwNI/AAAAAAAAAzE/pwjfYTUYoTg/s320/Flip+flopRoom+008.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5385081044234977490" border="0" /></a><br />Soooo I better start posting some pics. First here is the spare bedroom that I redecorated. This is the room that used to be my dad's for the short few months he was living with us. I haven't had the heart to change it since he passed in Feb. 2007. So this was a healing process for me also and I love my new beach themed spare room. In fact I sleep there when my husband is out of town...which has been most of the summer.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SrumriuKhCI/AAAAAAAAAzM/VOOoWMw9idA/s1600-h/Aug+3+2009+009.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 385px; height: 288px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SrumriuKhCI/AAAAAAAAAzM/VOOoWMw9idA/s320/Aug+3+2009+009.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5385081046436578338" border="0" /></a>Kims Kreationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03068026396062860078noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3161061294081612355.post-62249000253329869342009-05-27T07:48:00.000-07:002009-05-27T09:46:26.253-07:00SHAME ON ME!Yes it has been nearly two months since my last post. I don't really have a good excuse except that I have been very busy. I have been cleaning and organizing my house. I have also started some painting and trying to finish it up. We have planted a huge garden and I have planted another rose bush in honer of my mom, along with a lot of other flowers. I got my fountain going again and planted some pots. So here are a few of my favorite things!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Sh1pFe0lwLI/AAAAAAAAAyU/qdx1K7WrDeM/s1600-h/Picnik+collage.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 288px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/Sh1pFe0lwLI/AAAAAAAAAyU/qdx1K7WrDeM/s320/Picnik+collage.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340540276025180338" border="0" /></a> My Grand-daughter painted the gnome and ended up looking like a leprechaun. It has been too long, but I made it before the month is up. Well I have finally gotten my yarn closet organized and marked so I can find my yarn with out digging all day. That gives me more time to knit and crochet. Then it's up to the sewing room to get it in shape and get the dust off that sewing machine! Here is my closet and yes it is mostly full of Peaches and Creme cotton and lots of their other yarn!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBBqtK3rmI/AAAAAAAAAvo/9-K6pPxp9cQ/s1600-h/Yarn+closet.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 306px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBBqtK3rmI/AAAAAAAAAvo/9-K6pPxp9cQ/s320/Yarn+closet.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318823361860054626" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBBp2lnwMI/AAAAAAAAAvY/ghNXhVlx5fI/s1600-h/DSC03536.JPG"> </a>These are the bins that are on wheels and slide to the side of the closet and are easy to roll out.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBBp2lnwMI/AAAAAAAAAvY/ghNXhVlx5fI/s1600-h/DSC03536.JPG"> </a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBD-m2XKqI/AAAAAAAAAvw/ase4QCv21R8/s1600-h/yarn+closet2.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 287px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBD-m2XKqI/AAAAAAAAAvw/ase4QCv21R8/s320/yarn+closet2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318825902784064162" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBEn-wiepI/AAAAAAAAAv4/ge4tX0eFN_w/s1600-h/yarn+closet3.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 293px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SdBEn-wiepI/AAAAAAAAAv4/ge4tX0eFN_w/s320/yarn+closet3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318826613576727186" border="0" /></a><br />These are my cones of 930 cotton..but I haven't got all 130 colors yet. The basket on the bottom of the black shelves are scarf kits and the one on the bottom of white shelf is skeins of 930 cotton. The top of the closet has some Double Worsted 980 and some other yarns like my sock yarn and Bernat. I have baskets of my Knitpicks yarn and some of the novelty yarn from Julia's Crafts that sit on top of the rolling carts. It is so much easier this way and I can always change it.Kims Kreationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03068026396062860078noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3161061294081612355.post-19130080152082957912009-02-03T09:46:00.000-08:002009-02-03T21:08:50.444-08:00IS IT SPRING YET?<span style="font-weight: bold;">Well as usual I am so ready for Spring. Lisa has some amazing patterns and wished I had time to do them all. I did some of her <a href="http://hookandneedledesigns.com/holiday_decorations.htm">angels</a> for nice little gifts for friends. I did get my <a href="http://hookandneedledesigns.com/">Way to Go Shawl</a> finished and it turn out wonderful!! I did it with <a href="http://www.peaches-creme.com/art_2029-store.htm">Rayon Super Petalspun </a>from <a href="http://www.peaches-creme.com/">Peaches and Creme </a>. The peach color was so nice and very soft and easy to crochet with. Here are a few pictures of my progress. And I will try to get a picture badge posted to side of my blog.<br /><a href="http://www.naturallycaron.com/projects/mirror_lake/mirror_lake_1.html">The Mirror Lake Scarf</a> was another fun pattern. It was made of 8 motifs and then stitched together for the scarf. I made this for my niece that just loves green. It was done with Peaches and Creme <a href="http://www.peaches-creme.com/940-store.htm">Cabled cotton</a> in Lime green. I love how the cabled cotton holds it's shape and very nice to crochet with as well.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SV0y-I6EbII/AAAAAAAAAsA/9VACSmkQaoA/s1600-h/DSC02774.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SV0y-I6EbII/AAAAAAAAAsA/9VACSmkQaoA/s320/DSC02774.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286437580727151746" border="0" /></a> <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SV0y8nM36II/AAAAAAAAAr4/XnxArXgeEmg/s1600-h/DSC02659.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 260px; height: 195px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/SV0y8nM36II/AAAAAAAAAr4/XnxArXgeEmg/s320/DSC02659.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286437554499348610" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://www.peaches-creme.com/art_2029-store.htm"><br /></a>Kims Kreationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03068026396062860078noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3161061294081612355.post-71496403870133044232008-12-05T22:31:00.000-08:002008-12-05T22:40:10.045-08:00More Christmas Knitting<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/STociPoAISI/AAAAAAAAAqo/hpr5bd12Sr0/s1600-h/DSC02675.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zlgI97rgH1g/STociPoAISI/AAAAAAAAAqo/hpr5bd12Sr0/s320/DSC02675.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276561288053399842" border="0" /></a><br />Here are a couple dishcloths and scrubbers I did for Christmas gifts.
